Thanksgiving is the new Spring break!
Me and some international student friends decided to skip going home last Thanksgiving break. I just wanted a change, and the foreign students obviously couldn’t leave the country for such short a time period – it wouldn’t be cost-effective. College being in Virginia, and all of us having been to Virginia beach before decided to go out of state. Plus, we wanted to go someplace that was at least a day’s road trip away. We decided to go to Myrtle Beach. None of us had been there before and we started looking up an appropriate Myrtle Beach Hotel. We found the Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel, which was MUCH MORE than simply ‘appropriate’. It was outright fancy, and we could afford it too! We’d all gathered some savings during the semester but didn’t think we’d be able to afford a beach front hotel in our range – expecting we wouldn’t be able to afford Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotels. We were pleasantly surprised! Of course we’d booked online about two months in advance, the moment we decided on a place to go to, but we never expected we could stay in such a first-class resort. I’m going back soon!
